ATL Ultrasound of Bothell, WA, has expanded the applications of its HDI 1000 system from its base in ob/gyn and general imaging into surgical and musculoskeletal uses. The company's Performance 99 software upgrade also offers new enhancements in color-flow Doppler, automated system setups and response times, obstetrical calculations, and image storage. The company also introduced four new Entos scanheads for the system.
