image visualization development tools in medical imaging. AVS,
of Waltham, MA, develops software that allows clinicians and OEMs
to create applications such as 3-D image viewing. AVS has 17 medical
imaging OEMs, including ADAC Laboratories, which used the company's
AVS/Express product to develop its MacroVision and ProVision utilities
for creating nuclear medicine imaging applications.
