MBI has named Bobba Venkatadri as president and COO, the San Diegoultrasound contrast developer announced last week. Venkatadritakes the place of Vincent Frank, who passed away in August aftera lengthy illness.

Venkatadri comes to MBI from monoclonal antibody developerCentocor, where he served as executive vice president of the company'spharmaceutical division. He was instrumental in restructuringCentocor and in building strategic alliances and managing R&D,according to MBI.

In other news, MBI earlier this month said the Federal TradeCommission has cleared its new distribution and investment agreementwith Mallinckrodt Medical (SCAN 9/13/95).
