US Oncology has boosted its number of PET facilities to seven with the opening of two new centers in Indianapolis and Austin. The Indianapolis facility will be US Oncology’s first mobile unit. The PET Imaging Center of Central Texas has opened at Austin’s Southwest Cancer Center. Other US Oncology PET centers are located in Dallas, Denver, Overland Park (KS), Seattle, and Spokane (WA). Together, US Oncology-affiliated practices and cancer centers provide outpatient care for about 15% of the nation’s newly diagnosed cancer patients.
