Hoping to capitalize on consumers' newfound awareness of preventive medicine, entrepreneurs in Florida have founded a company dedicated to bringing preventive diagnostics to the retail marketplace. The company, dubbed Predictive Medicine Centers of America, will partner with diagnostic imaging centers to provide specialized executive programs to target upscale baby boomers. Analyses will involve imaging modalities including ultrasound, CT, MRI, and PET in combination with extensive blood, genetic, nutritional, and hormone profiles.
