Trex Medical completes purchase of XRE

Trex Medical has finalized its acquisition of cardiac cath andangiography lab vendor XRE of Littleton, MA. Trex, of Danbury,CT, had announced earlier this year that it had signed a letterof intent to buy XRE (SCAN 2/28/96).

In other news, Trex announced that it has hired former Philipsexecutive John Brenna to the position of vice president of marketing.Brenna will be responsible for developing marketing programs forTrex products serving the mammography, cardiovascular, and generalx-ray markets.body
