Confer Software, a developer of XML-based information management technologies for healthcare applications, has named Ann Ting as president and chief operating officer. She replaces Dale Sakai, who has stepped down as president and chief executive officer to pursue personal interests. Ting is a cofounder and former senior vice president of engineering for Confer. The company has also promoted May Hu to vice president of engineering and Rex Wang to vice president of product marketing.
