In addition to advanced mammography image processing and integrated MQSA tracking, the MammoIQ system enables viewing of adjunctive modalities including MRI, ultrasound and PET imaging.

Offering a combination of enhanced mammogram visualization, regulatory tracking capabilities and multi-modality viewing within a single platform, Novarad has unveiled the MammoIQ breast imaging system.

Designed for high-volume breast imaging settings, MammoIQ provides rapid preprocessing and loading of images, seamless toggling between conventional mammogram views and digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) visualization, and automated artificial intelligence (AI) features, according to Novarad. The company noted that MammoIQ enables access to viewing of adjunctive modalities including breast MRI, ultrasound and positron emission tomography (PET).

Novarad also emphasized the capabilities of the MammoIQ system for facilitating compliant breast imaging workflows with integrated tracking as per the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), structured reporting and automated patient notifications.

“This framework addresses critical regulatory requirements while at the same time providing an end-to-end, integrated platform for mammography,” said David Grandpre, the vice president of products at Novarad. “This platform will continue to evolve with advanced tools and remains flexible to address new or changing regulatory needs.”
