Sony Electronics has begun shipping two medical-grade flat-panel monitors. The two are the first in the company’s LMD-MD series of flexible, lightweight monitors that allow clear viewing regardless of the angle. The monitors provide high-resolution data and video display. The LMD-151MD monitor has a 15-inch diagonal flat screen; the LMD-181MD monitor has an 18-inch diagonal flat screen. They list at $3658 and $6675, respectively.
